Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is the daughter of a Russian mother and Hindu Indian father in Afghanistan. She is fluent in German Russian and English and also speaks French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru was born to an Indian father as well as a Russian mother. The choreographed show she performed at age 11 which aired on German television, transformed her into an Russian dancer, who became a snow maiden. She finished high school at the age of 11 in New York and received a bachelor of Arts in English at St. John's University. She studied acting classes at the HB Studios. However, she moved on to pursue improvised comedy at The Groundlings School. Her story began by her parents in Kabul Afghanistan, to Hindu-Indian Ghanshan Kenne Mahendru (father) as well as Russian Olga (mother). She moved to East Meadow New York, with her father when she was 13, and is now starring alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel on FX's The Americans. Television actress who plays an ex- KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova, on FX's The Americans. Her role was a regular one on Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
