Ana de la Reguera and Ana Gasteyer Bio

Ana Kristina Gasteyer (born January 1 1977) is an American performer and comedian. The most well-known of her roles was in NBC's sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live. In the years since, she's played in sitcoms, such as ABC's Suburgatory TBS's People of Earth NBC's American Auto as well as the film Mean Girls. Gasteyer was a student of Northwestern University when she began her acting career. She first studied as majoring in voice, but then moved to theater when she joined the university's improv group. The same spirit accompanied Gasteyer throughout various roles, such as the overly controlling Sheila Shay in Suburgatory or the odd Karen Grisham on Lady Dynamite. This has all led to American Auto.
